Transport

Road transportation:
from Chalkidiki for Ouranoupoli and Ierisso with a bus.

Coastal transportation:
from Ierisso for the monasteries of northeastern and southeastern side with a caique.
The itinerary finishes in the Abbey of the Biggest Lavra and the distance is covered in 4 hours and 30 minutes. From Ouranoupoli for the monasteries of the west side with a caique. The caique stops in Dafni (1 hour and 30 minutes). From the small port of Dafni the visitors arrive with the bus in Karye's (35 minutes) or with a caique in the monasteries of the southwest side till the hermitage of Saint Annas'.
