Kassandria

It is one of the oldest Municipalities of the Prefecture(from the 16th century), and it takes its name from the king Kassandro of Macedonia, but also from the homonym city of the antiquity that is built in the isthmus of Kassandras. While you are walking on the pavements, you should see the Town hall, built in 1926, the Temple of Saint Athanassios (1850) and the Temple of the Birth of Virgin Mary (1850).
