Pirgadikia

The village was founded after the Mikra Asia's destruction by refugees that came there from the village Afthoni. It is surrounded by olive trees and low vegetation. From any point of the village the visitor can see Mount Athos from the one side and the peninsula of Sithonia from the other. It consists of about 600 residents. It is found in a distance of 100 km from Thessalonica through Arnaias. The neighbouring settlement of Saint Ioannis has about 30 residents.The visitors can enjoy their bathe in the splendid beaches of Gialakia and Kambos.
