In Central Chalkidiki, which is part of Central Macedonia with main characteristic the mountain range of Holomonda(1165 m height). Let yourself in the clean air and enjoy the alterations of the landscape, the plains with the cultivated plottages, the olivetrees, the various uplands covered with pines and cypresses and finally the cleanest coasts with the marvelous sandy beaches. At the northern part of Poligiros there is a full of green slope that goes up to the hilltop "Tsoukalas"(890 m) from where someone can face a panoramic and spectacular sight: The three peninsulas of Sithonia, Kassandra (ancient Pallini), Agio Oros with the grand mount Athos and the picturesque islands of Diaporos, Ammouliani and Kelifos. Getting down from Arnaia, the visitor gets to Gommati , a beautiful village built away from the sea. Whoever loves beautiful beaches will find in a distance of 10 km from the village the shore- and the settlement- Develiki, and the pebble-lonely- beach Pirgos, which groups a lot of campers.
