Stratoni

Stratoni is 102 km from Thessalonica and 56 km from Polygyros. The city was founded probably by Dimitrios the Besieger, in honour of his mother Stratonikis or his homonym daughter. In Stratoni there is a memorial grave with two male and one female statues that are exposed at the Museum of Polygyros.
