The house of Papadiamantis

The house where the famous Greek writer Alexandros Papadiamantis was given birth on 4 March 1851, does not exist today. It was sold and its purchasers demolished it. Papadiamantis grew and died in the new house that his father built in 1860. It is about 100 metres from the eastern beach of the city.
