Almyros

About thirty five kilometres from Volos is Almyros. It is an area with rich tradition and with a very important Archaeological Museum, in which are presented archaeological treasures from Fthiotides Thebes, Pyrasos, Alo and from other locations of Almyros. The rich plain, the ancient Krokio field and the Athamantio field are full of traces from an important ancient culture.
