Zagora

The biggest village of Pilio that met big commercial and intellectual acme in the 17th and 18th century , is homeland of the historian G. Kordatou. There are Byzantine texts that mention Pilio with the name Zagora. Important is the library of Zagora that posesses thousands of tomes of rare books.
