Fakistra-Labinou

Fakistra. In the northern part of Fakistra are two historical caves. The sea cave of Virgin Mary that is full of stalactites and a few metres above, the cave where during the Ottoman domination functioned the Secret School of Tsagarada.

Labinou. The excuisite embrace of the homonym village. Near the coast is built the monastery of Virgin Mary, Lampidonas. According to the tradition, a providential shine led a captain to a secure harbour where he built the monastery.
