Psathoura-Peristera

Psathoura. Psathoura. It is the unique volcanic island in N. Sporades. In the southern point exists a small inlet with a sandy beach where caiques dock. In front of Psathoura, in 20 metres depth, we find a sinking state, which hasn't been sufficiently searched. In front of Psathoura is found the island Psathonisi or Psathouropoula. These islets are dangerous for navigation, due to the strong sea currents and that is why an impressive lighthouse exists in the northern point of Psathoura.

Peristera. It is a small uninhabited islet, that is found very near the Eastern coasts of Alonisos. Peristera, despite its small size, has beaches, where the visitor can enjoy a quiet swim.
