It is hosted in the monastery of Saint Athanasios (17th century) that is located in the west entrance of Naousa. It has more than a hundred Byzantine and post Byzantine icons (from the 15th to 19th century) many of which are works of hagiographers of Paros. Some of the most remarkable icons are: The deposition from the Cross (16th century), Prayer (15th century), Christ Pantocrator and Panagia the Odigitria (18th century).
The museum also hosts woodcut items, items of worship and icons made of copper.
