Petaloudes

Across the road that connects Paroikia with Aliki, at 5 Km distance, before Paroikia, there is a fork in the left side of the main road which drives us the location of Psihopiana, where exists the monastery of "Christ in the woods". A bit more west, we meet the valley with the Butterflies, one of the most important protected parts in Greece. The area, that has running waters and rich vegetation, is an ideal place of living for hundreds of butterflies that travel here during the summer months.
