| Piso Livadi |
It is the seaport of Marpissa from which it has a kilometre distance. Built round the picturesque harbour with the traditional boats, Piso Livadi, is directly connected during the summer months with Naxos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Mikonos, Dilos, Antiparos and Koufonisia. West from the village, on a hill, there is the church of Agios Dimitrios the Seaman that is aged in the end of the 13th century, with old murals from the 14th century.
In Piso Livadi you can find hotels, rooms to let, a camping, a super market, ouzeri, taverns by the sea that serve fresh fish and bars. In the local fete, of the Ascension Day, people have fun with local food, ample wine and traditional dances.
