Aliki (10km from Paroikia) is a beautiful, coastal village in the S.W. shores of Paros, very close to the airport of the island. It is ideal place for quiet family vacation. Aliki has a crystal clear sand beach, taverns by the sea that serve fresh fish (it has tradition to fishery) and few bars. Also, the village has a playground, football field and two brand new lightened courts of basketball and volleyball. The clubs of Aliki organize during the summer various cultural activities. The most important feasts are those of Saint John the Klidonas in June with the burning of mays, the feast of the Saviour on the 6th of August and the feast of the Cross on 14th of September. Great interest presents the visit to the museum of Cycladic folklore of Mr. Skiadas, a recognized self-taught artist. The most impressive of his creations are the miniatures of boats and distinctive buildings of Cyclades.
