Nearby Islands

Despotiko. It is found in the southwest of Antiparos and is uninhabited today. It has exceptionally beautiful beaches and is ideal for fishing. It is used exclusively as a rangeland from 1675 when French invaders destroyed it.

Saligkos. A very small island near the harbour of Antiaros. Here, scientists of the British Archaeological Faculty revealed in 1964-65 settlement ruins of the Newclassic period.
