Martelo - Kamonia

Martelo It is a great sandy beach which is part of the beach of Crios. It is 2, 5 km away from the centre of Paroikia. There are restaurants and bars. Access: with a boat (regular timetables) from the port of Paroikia or with your own vehicle by road.

Camonia It is an enormous sandy beach in the northern edge of the gulf of Paroikia. It is part of the beach of Martelo, really close to the cape of Saint Fokas. In the same area, there is also the cave of Archilohos, a great hole in the almost vertical coast. In this cave, according to tradition, this great poet of antiquity was searching for inspiration. Access: with a boat (regular timetables) from the port of Paroikia or with your own vehicle by road.
