Souvlia

Souvlia is an enormous sandy beach in the north edge of Paroikia's gulf. It is part of the beach of Martelo, really close to the cape of Saint Fokas. In the same area, there is also the cave of Archilohos, a great hole in the almost vertical coast. In this cave, according to tradition, this great poet of antiquity was searching for inspiration. Access: with a boat (regular timetables) from the port of Paroikia or with your own vehicle by road.
