Folklore Museum

It was built in 1906 from the Israelite Giako Modiano. It is known and as "Old Government house". From 1913 and after it was used successively as a palace, as Hieratic and as Military School. From 1972, it is accomodated in this Folklore and Ethnologic Museum of Macedonia - Thraki. The building was manufactured in 1906 in a coastal ground of 5 acres extent. It is developed in four levels: semibasement, two floors and a loft, of total extent 1.200 m2.Particularly appreciable is the two-floor balcony with view to the sea.
